Hello prospective Paragons! My name is Sevrahn and today I'm doing a different sort of write-up. Not so much a guide as a reference or go-by. Talking about Card Crafting and Dismantling.

Rarities -

  • White - Common
  • Green - Uncommon
  • Blue - Rare
  • Purple - Epic

Crafting Cost -

  • White - 600
  • Green - 1,200
  • Blue - 2,400
  • Purple - 4,800

Here we can see a linear progression where each rarity costs double the previous to craft. However, when it comes to dismantling the system isn't quite as straightforward.

Dismantling Returns -

  • White - 100
  • Green - 240
  • Blue - 600
  • Purple - 1200

The simplest correlation I could find here was in fraction of cost. White returns 1/6th, Green returns 1/5th, while Blue ad Purple each return 1/4th. Making Blue and Purple the most effecient to break down in terms of crafting cards of equal rarity.

Conversion Rates -

Here I am going to outline how many of each rarity you would need to break down in order to build a single card.

  • White - 6 Whites, or 3 Greens (120 remainder), or 1 Blue. 1 Purple will net you 2 Whites.
  • Green - 12 Whites, or 5 Greens, or 2 Blues, or 1 Purple.
  • Blue - 24 Whites, or 10 Greens, or 4 Blues, or 2 Purples.
  • Purple - 48 Whites, or 20 Greens, or 8 Blues, or 4 Purples.

I'm not going to go into every variation on how to build a card for sake of space, but you should be able to find what you'll need exactly before you just start breaking things down.

Personal Preference -

Each card cost escalates by a factor of 2 per rarity tier - I am fine with this as it's OCD-friendly, lol. But the dismantling returns are just.. off for me. There doesn't really seem to be a pattern to them or a consistent rate. (If I am allowed to suggest something) - my only change would be to have all dismantles be equal, at a rate of 25% return (what Purple and Blue already have). This would put Whites returning 150 and Blues returning 300. For the OCD half of me it's a cleaner line, but having the standard return rate would also accelerate how fast new players could craft necessary cards.

Let me know what you think in the comments! Thanks for reading, and see you in Agora.
